This is just macrophotography, not microphotography. You just used your cmaera’s macro function or added a macro lens.
In microphotography, you actually attach your digicam to a microscope, either “AFOCAL METHOD” or “EYEPIECE PROJECTION TECHNIQUE” using special camera adapters. The best way to obtain good microphotos is to remove the microscope eyepiece and attach directly the SLR camera body. USB microscope are also commonly available.
